Take a user-centric approach to design, always consider the needs and wants of the end-user first.
Understand the organization
In order to design the right product solution, it is essential to understand every function of the business; from internal operations and sales to board-level decisions and financial requirements.
Test early and often
It is critical to test concepts with users, iterate, and validate, as early and as often as possible.
Future-thinking, realistic outcomes
During research and discovery, think broadly about a problem, consider several solutions and future-states before circling back to a feasible deliverable. One in which engineering can realistically scope and build.
Align with business goals
It is absolutely necessary to work closely with product managers and align with them on business goals and KPIs throughout the design process.
